Dave Falter is a highly experienced executive with a 30+ year history of leading in technology and technology-enabled businesses ranging from $50M to $2.5B in revenues and 150 to 20,000 global employees. He has served as a private equity and venture capital investor, as well as an operator of businesses backed by PE and VC investments. Further, he has mentored nearly 100 executives over his career who have advanced in their own careers to lead numerous businesses, philanthropies, and NGOs.
Dave has honed his commitment to servant-leadership practices through his own, unique philosophy of “self-interested caretaking” and he blogs about his theory and practice at mushermanagement.com. Dave is a regular contributor on a variety of podcasts, webcasts, and to business periodicals on the topics of leadership and managerial excellence.
An eight-time President and CEO, Dave has also had the privilege of serving on multiple Boards, including New Logic, Freedrive, Optimer Brands, YAPTA, GNIP, Antenna International, and BizPay. He is a trustee of Hadley Institute for the Blind and active in the governance of Childhood.org.
Married for 30+ years and the proud father of three adult sons, Dave enjoys sculpting and singing, racquet sports, golf, SCUBA, and skiing.
